We have several positions available, ranging from kitchen help to adventure coordinators, which could be an ideal summer job for teenagers. Kitchen staff should be knowledgeable about food handling, restaurant operations, and delivering great customer service. Reliable transportation and a positive attitude are a must for all positions.
Responsibilities
Availability to work within opening hours (including weekends and holidays)
Nurture friendly relationships with customers and staff to increase loyalty and boost our reputation
Manage the day to day activities of the cafe, bait shop, boat ramp, kayak and paddle board rentals.
Customer Service oriented
Strong Math, reporting skills and record-keeping
Manage costs and inventory, Ordering basic, local supplies. Calculate future supply needs for all facets of the business. Manage store’s vendor relationships
Developing menu items based on seasonality and customers’ preference with Management
Excellent communication skills necessary to communicate effectively with remote staff and ownership.
Work with AirBnB staff to ensure a friendly and hospitable environment for all guests and customers.
Preparation and proper use of equipment; as well as proper cleaning and sanitization techniques.
Monitor compliance with safety and hygiene regulations
Manage Landscape and garbage removal services
Keeping cafe, parking lot, boat ramp and rental area clean
* Applicants must have a reliable means of transportation
* Familiarity with POS register systems a plus
* Working understanding of Office (Excel, Word, PPP, email and Social Media Channels)
* High school diploma +any additional certifications (e.g. in Business Administration, Restaurant and or Hospitality) is a plus
* Food Certificates are beneficial but not required as we will pay for your certification if need be
